W.E.N. was formed in 2011 in St. Petersburg (Russia) as a new project of the guitarist of one old Russian psychedelic kraut-rock bands Gdeva - Andrei Petrov aka Paranoid A. With a great drummer Boris Popov (bands Sehnsucht, 42) and bass guitarist Sam Rodin aka Reinar Hegglund W.E.N. began to live.
The basis of the creative musicians laid instrumental music and experimental approach. Sound of the band embraces the dark side of stoner rock and the bright side of progressive art-rock. Technicality live performance became the hallmark the group.
"Train Hard" is the first EP of W.E.N. It was recorded in 2012 and produced by Andrei Petrov's own studio E.S.V (Experimental Sound Vision).
For the cover design was chosen picture "Sisyphus" of St. Petersburg painter Mikhail Belov.
